The first bet won by Creative Patterns funders was to set the company outside from the biggest french video game metropolis (Paris, Lyon, Montpellier). They thought that you don’t need to work in a very specific place in a dematerialized industry like the video game one. Strasbourg is a city where life costs less than Paris, and being the one and only video game company in the territory gives us more opportunity in terms of work force. Many other advantages have appeared during the years:
- Strasbourg is a european hub and you now have to consider the whole european market rather than country specific ones.
- Strasbourg has recently acquired a yet more international dimension with a recent Otan Council and the visit of the President of the USA.
- Life quality in Strasbourg, praised by many national media, emphasis the attractivity of the company for workers.
Alsace is a leader territory in terms of new technologies, with the action of Iconoval. Experimental place for optic fiber installing, Alsace is at the third place of software publishing in France, just behind Ile-de-France and Rhône-Alpes that are more populated.

Creative Patterns has welcomed many other companies in their workplace. Upon them, Novelys, expert in web development. That grants us an extended field of competence on many projects.

Beyond the CPPlex, Creative Patterns is one of the leader company of the Alsace Digitale project that seeks to create a dynamic coworking space. This could contribute to the success and the fame of Strasbourg and Alsace with IT and new technologies.
